I'm from Leeds, and it's a great place to live and work, unlike Aberdeen which is a racist dump full of pie eating fatties. Your best bet is to try a local removal company and ask them about house clearances, or try the local paper for house clearances. I myself bought a fantastic industrial dryer for £30, but was dutch so i had to find out the instructions and translate into English. That was from a house clearance in Aberdeen. You get good quality gear at giveaway prices.
The classifieds in the YEP may give details of any sales.
